showbusiness
ok ok...maybe i should make a big deal about it. but no matter how you look at it tomorrow is going to be my first paid gig doing comedy. for me this will definitely be one of those things i never forget. even if i suck. i'm still getting paid for it! i bet all these guys at the hong kong country club are well in the money and i'll be one of the few odd ones out, but i'm still gonna make those guys laugh.

car stoppers
what is up with those jay walkers who put up their hand towards oncoming cars when crossing the street? do they feel like they're having an impact over the driver decision to stop? "well i was going to just run him over, but then he put up his arm. what could i do? i had to stop." i think the driver is probably going to stop whether or not you put your arm up, stupid.
its been a while
ok, ok. i know i haven't blogged in a long time. i'm not gonna lie and say i had things to do either. i didn't. unless you count procrastinating as an errond (spelling?). anyway, I wish these blogging websites were more advanced so they could blog themselves, blogimatically, so to speak. if they did they probably say something like 00110110010101011110101101. I speak binary.
Ok enough of this, time for an update. Since my last entry 13,000 years ago I started a long, difficult summer of being broke and desperately looking for work. I finally found a job in the tuition center from hell and apperently they had no positive feeling towards me as I was fired not to long after starting. Thankfully they did provide me enough money to be able to just squeek by. Sure I'm broke, but i never have to camp in the park.
During that time i also started doing stand up comedy. something that i've wanted to do my whole life for the last 6 years. As of this point I've been performing for nearly three months and I think this is defintely the best hobbie I've ever done. It's difficult, but definitely rewarding. Writing jokes is both increadibly fun and a pain in the ass. But for some reason it doesn't feel like work, I actually enjoy doing it. And it feels great when someone comes up to you after the show and tells you you're funny. Thanks Mom!
